As per recent reports, director Pavan Kripalani who currently awaits the release of his next film Bhoot Police starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez is gearing up for his next project which reportedly is a rom-com.

There were reports that actors Sara Ali Khan and Vikrant Massey will be teaming up with Bhoot Police director Pavan Kripalani for a rom-com. However, director Kripalani who awaits the release of his film says otherwise. When Spotboye got in touch with the Phobia director, he denied working on a rom-com. Pavan said, "Currently not working on any other film besides Bhoot Police. Will decide my next post the release. And it's definitely not a rom-com."

The filmmaker remains tight-lipped about his cast or the genre of the film, 'Discussions are on for my next film, so would not like to comment on that,' said Pavan. Although the director didn't divulge much on his next, it has been in the news that Sara Ali Khan and Vikrant Massey will share screen space in his rom-com. The film is going to be produced by Ramesh Taurani under his banner TIPS Films. The yet-untitled film is expected to go on floors in October-November this year. 

Journalist Rahul Raut also confirmed the news on Twitter and wrote, "It's LOCKED!! #SaraAliKhan and @VikrantMassey are coming together for #BhootPolice director Pavan Kirpalani's next romantic drama...@RameshTaurani  of @tipsofficial is producing this yet-untitled film; scheduled to go on floors around October-November... Further details awaited!" 



Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan will next be seen in Anand L Rai's Atrangi Re co-starring Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. Whereas Vikrant Massey is currently shooting for the Hindi remake of the Malayalam investigative thriller Forensic with Radhika Apte, Prachi Desai, and Rohit Roy.
